Ellen Jane Lorenz Porter Grant for Graduate Work in Composition
DESCRIPTION $2,000 to a graduate student working on an advanced degree in composition.
REQUIREMENTS Required Materials Checklist:
- Current resume
- Statement of Mu Phi Epsilon participation
- Most recent unofficial college transcript
- Proof of current registration or acceptance into a graduate program
- PDF scores of two recent compositions
- High-quality recordings of the submitted compositions. Submission via links to YouTube preferred (or other comparable sites, no Dropbox). Recordings in the Scholarship Application process must not be older than two years from the date of application.

- Two current letters of recommendation
- $25 Application Fee
Please note that there will be no return of application fee for incomplete and disqualified applications.
